Five strangers, one hour and a lot to talk about!

 

Moderated by a Girl Ganger at all times to ensure a safe, respectful environment, Girl Gang Manchester presented it's new solution to the loneliness epidemic: Coffee Philosophy.

 

Built on the same values as our sell out Speed Mate-ing nights, Coffee Philosophy offered the people of Manchester a chance to broaden their social circles and their minds.

For this event we presented four discussion topics:

 

* The Trump Effect: How has Trump's election changed politics and culture in Britain?

 

* Fashion and Feminism: Can they ever go together?

 

* Ethical Consumerism: Is it ever possible in our capitalist society?

 

* Online Activism: Is it effective? Is it enough? What more can we be doing?
